We source our Douglas Fir and Ponderosa Pine raw materials from either SFI or FSC certified manufacturers.
Once at our facility, 80-90% of materials are sold as solid wood finished flooring, shiplap boards, stair treads, risers, landing transitions and trim boards. 10-20% fall into factory seconds, which are sold at a substantial discount or donated to Habitat for Humanity. Our end trim pieces are sold for hobby wood, or kindling.
Even the sawdust and shavings are bagged and donated to local parks, or sold to local farmers for animal bedding. Virtually none of manufacturing waste ends up in landfills.
